The morning will hate to see you coming after a fruit and fibre-filled brekky bar.
Ingredients
4-5ripe bananas (mashed with a fork)
3cups rolled oats
¼cup flax seeds
¼cup chopped dates (currants or walnuts)
2 eggs
⅓cup dark brown sugar
1cup yoghurt
½cup milk
1tsp cinnamon
¼cup cocoa powder
1tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1
Prep your bananas then measure all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Using a large spoon or spatula mix well until everything is evenly coated.
2
Spread evenly into a large non-stick or baking paper-lined roasting pan and bake for 30-40 mins or until browning at the edges.
3
Rest to cool completely then slice.
4
Store in the fridge for up to a week or freezer for up to three months. Bring back to room temp before serving.
You can eat them cold from the fridge but the flavour is not as nice.
