Description
It was a drizzly evening in Taipei and the underground food court of Shilin Market was closed for renovation. Food vendors spilled out onto the side streets surrounding the market. We sat our soggy asses down and ordered a plate of these steamed glutinous starch dumplings filled with a meatball. As we were served I snapped this shot perched on a small seat in front of the steamer. Lucky shot.
It turned out to be the best thing I ate in Taipei. Invite the lucky meatball spirit into your home today.
